Meet Dr. Nicholas Bell
Nicky Bell, Ph.D. is the Founder and CEO of Powered Analysis. He has more than a decade of experience building data capacity at successful startup companies. He founded the data analytics function at Clairity, part of the team that built the first FDA-approved device to predict breast cancer risk from a mammogram image.
Dr. Bell also led new data product development at FlagshipRTL, a SaaS solution for retail demand forecasting and supply planning, and oversaw data-driven policy programs supported by the Carnegie Corporation and the MacArthur Foundation. Since 2020, he has been a faculty member in data analytics at the University of Pennsylvania and George Washington University. Also, he has designed and taught more than a dozen data analytics courses for non-technical learners with stellar reviews, earning an average instructor rating of 4.7 out of 5 and placing him in the top percentiles of all GWU faculty.

How long is each course?
Each course is approximately 6 hours long, segmented into 20-30 minute individual sessions that are separated by a few tests and quizzes. The courses are completely at your own pace. Come back and view your materials, or download your certificate of completion at any given time.
Does the course come with an official certification?
Yes, each course comes with a certificate of completion that are backed by our industry experts. The certificates come in PDF format that you will be able to use or share with your social networks. The certificates do not expire, however new information may be released that wasn’t covered in the introductory course.
Do my courses ever expire?
No, courses do not expire and won’t ever require additional payment. When new information is released, there will be an additional course added that covers any important announcements or changes within the industry.
Who can I reach out to if I have questions about my course?
You may reach out to our support team at any given time if you have questions about your course. Our support team will reply within 2-3 business days on any non-urgent questions. If you have issues accessing your course information, you may contact technical support here.
Do I need access to any additional tools to get started?
No additional tools are required to start taking the course. Any additional tools or licenses will be discussed on the course details page of each individual course. Your instructor will also advise you on what tools they recommend, however the course itself is a guide to use these tools.
